The album is coming along quite well, and almost all of the songs have been composed. I’m currently locating a recording studio to begin recording, and recording will probably take begin in mid to late June. I’ve also decided on a name, but I’m keeping it quiet until some more work is done. In other news, photoshoots (by c12studios.com) for the album cover are scheduled and a preview should be up within the next few weeks.

I’m currently hard at work on my official debut album, which will be released this summer. The album is mostly written and is in the preparatory stages of recording. In the meantime, my demo solo album, the Innsbruck Suite, is still available to purchase.

Hooray, the album is done! The tracks have been polished, the paperwork’s been signed, and the artwork’s been published. It was recorded entirely live at Cue Studios, and it’s now available to purchase at several digital retailers. Physical CDs will be available in a couple of weeks. Happy new year! It’s been a busy couple of months and it’s about time I updated this site; I played a few concerts and made an appearance on local cable, and in the next few weeks I’ll be traveling all over the country for college auditions. In exciting news, I’m featured on this week’s episode (54) of “Bowed Radio,” an online radio show that’s hosted artists like Miri Ben-Ari, Christian Howes, Rachel Barton Pine, and the Turtle Island String Quartet. The song is “Living History,” from the album. Click on the picture below for the episode, and check out bowed.org ‘cause it’s a great show. While you’re there, check out “Song for my Daughter” by Christian Howes on episode 52. It’s incredible.

Also, I now have sheet music available! Check out the new “Sheet Music” section of the site for more information.

Finally, I recently made a facebook music page; if you’re on facebook, check it out and become my fan by clicking the logo to the left. I send out updates sometimes when cool stuff happens.

First of all, “Evolution” is selling a heck of a lot better than I ever thought it would, so thanks to everyone for all your support. Now that I’m done with college auditions and everything, I’m very excited to get back in the studio to record a new EP with material I’ve been working on for quite a while. The new stuff is a little different than “Evolution;” it’s a bit heavier, more complex, and more in tune. For your listening pleasure, I present to you a ROUGH, UNFINISHED demo of “Intercosm,” a track from the EP.

The EP will be 5 or 6 songs, and it should be available by late June.

June 2008

Hello there! Exciting times are ahead, I actually graduated high school and I’m excited for summer and college. In case you didn’t notice, the website looks a lot...bigger. I added a “Press” section, a “Bio” section, and a
“Shows” section. I’ve been performing a lot recently and I have some upcoming shows. In the future, all of my performances will be listed on the “Shows” page. It’s powered by my SonicBids EPK (Electronic Press Kit), a system I’ll be using to find more gigs. The EPK has some cool info and some new audio tracks, so check it out by clicking the picture to the right.

Thanks to everyone who came out to see my senior recital concert at The Palladium, it went really well and I was surprised at the turnout. I’ll be including a track or two from the show on my new EP, which is going smoothly but (shockingly) taking longer than expected. If you missed the show, here’s a new YouTube video, a pizz improv that i just kind of made up during the performance. [see “music” page]

In case you couldn’t tell from the giant picture of the album art on the splash page, or from the slightly smaller picture of it to the right, my new EP “Intercosm” is coming very soon - August, to be specific. I used the money from my last (extremely low budget) release, “Evolution,” to finance this extremely-low-budget-but-slightly-higher-than-last-time release. All the tracks were brilliantly mastered by Dave Locke and the sound quality is fantastic - much, much better than that of “Evolution.” It will be available on iTunes and all other major digital retailers mid-August, and physical copies WILL be available in September. Thanks for listening! For more info click the picture to the right.
