Here in the downloads section, you'll find multimedia, widgets, and other downloadable whatnot that are certian to clutter up your desktop. Macs only; any attempt to install these downloads on a non-Apple computer will make your computer explode. Not really, but that would be sweet.
Following the introduction of the Wian9k RSS Feed, Wian9k now has a super-awesome dashboard widget. If you're running window$, then disregard this, because window$ isn't cool enough to support widgets.
The following widget is supported by Mac OS 10.4 Tiger's dashboard feature. Basically, when you click "get news," it displays all of the current posts in the black window. When you click on the name of a post in the widget, a new window in your default browser opens, containing that post. That, my friends, is wicked cool.
Here's a picture of the widget:

And here's a picture of the widget in relation to all the other widgets on my dashboard:
No dashboard is complete without it!

"Theif" (spelled wrong purposefully) is a text-based game for the iPod that I made a looooong time ago. I decided to re-introduce it on wian9k, because it's pretty hilarious. Basically, you're a thief that goes around stealing things, and you make choices and decisions that lead to hilarious conseuqences. There are three actual endings to the game, see if you can find them all!

To install this game, unzip the folder, and drag the folder into the "Notes" section of your iPod. Then, under the "Notes" section on your iPod, navigate to the "Theif" folder, and select "aStartHere.txt". This is supported by all the 3rd generation iPod and up.
This game is actually featured on the downloads page of iPodSoft.com. This was the first game of it's kind (completely mindless and mildly politically incorrect), so people really liked it, and it remains one of iPodSoft's most popular games. There were even two spinoffs of it by other people! They can be found here and here. That's right: I actualy inspired somebody.

This is a super-hilarious parody video I did during the '04 election*. It's a "Vote for Bu$h" commercial featuring Dubya singing the "Meow Mix" song. Click here to view it (25sec, Quicktime, 2.1mb)
*George W. Bush (aka. "Dubya" "Georgie" "Bu$h-Dawg" "Disgrace to America") did not actually endorse this commercial, and it is intended as a parody. Any Bush supporters that were offended can get bent.
